When a user adds media to their run, this is the default state they will see. We call it “Theatre View.”
This allows for easy access to treadmill controls while the user’s chosen media remains the center of attention.
When a user decides to change the treadmill’s speed or incline, speed in this case, they need only to expand the speed panel. This action gives them access to all speed options available to them.
Should the user wish to be fully immersed in their media experience, they have the option with fullscreen.
For safety reasons, the treadmill emergency controls are still visible at the bottom of the screen as well as the option to change channel and relocate the control UI.
Throughout the UI, we integrated numerous touchpoints to encourage guest users to create an account by drawing their attention to account benefits. This feature was lacking in the previous version.
We give the option to create an account at many points of the user journey.
